In 2025, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) will welcome an exciting lineup of world-class events, including many citywide conventions, trade shows, and returning annual favourites. The MTCC will continue to be a top meeting destination, where events inspire innovation and create meaningful connections.

Citywide Conventions Coming Soon

In 2025, the MTCC is set to welcome 18 citywide conventions. These major events will give our local economy a boost and elevate Toronto’s global reputation. Here are a few of the citywide conventions coming to our Centre in the New Year:

• Consensus Toronto – May 14-16, 2025

Making its debut in Toronto, Consensus is the world’s largest cryptocurrency and blockchain convention. This event will bring thousands of thought leaders in crypto, DeFi, blockchain, Web3 and the metaverse to Toronto in the spring.

• AAIC 2025 – July 27-31, 2025

Researchers, clinicians, and dementia professionals will meet in Toronto this summer at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC), the largest international conference on dementia research.

• KDD 2025– August 3-7, 2025

The 31st ACM SIGKDD Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining will bring thousands of experts to Toronto to discuss advancements in AI, machine learning, and more.

• ABA Annual Meeting – August 6-12, 2025

The American Bar Association’s Annual Meeting will gather legal professionals from the U.S. in Toronto to meet, connect, learn, and elevate their legal careers.

• ACI -NA Annual Conference and Exhibition – October 25-28, 2025

The Airports Council International-North America is the voice of North American airports, representing local, regional, and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada. This major conference helps its members stay ahead of trends, discuss industry solutions, and build a unified voice.

• Diabetes Canada/CSEM Professional Conference – November 26-29, 2025

The most highly anticipated diabetes and endocrinology-related conference in Canada will take place at the MTCC in the fall of 2025. Thousands of thought leaders and medical professionals will gather to discuss important advances in diabetes research, treatment, and care.

New and Noteworthy Events

• North American Bengali Conference – July 4-6, 2025

After a successful event in 2013, this cultural celebration is returning to the MTCC. Approximately 6,000 attendees are expected to attend, and the event will highlight Bengali traditions, including music, art, literature, and cuisine.

• Oddities & Curiosities Expo – June 14-15, 2025

Returning for only its second year, this unique event is a one-of-a-kind experience for the curious.

• ASTMH Annual Meeting – November 9-13, 2025

For the first time outside the U.S., the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene is bringing its prestigious meeting to Toronto. Experts will discuss global health challenges, focusing on tropical infectious diseases and advancements.

• World of Travel – May 29-31, 2025

A brand-new addition to our calendar, this trade show will offer information on unique travel destinations and experiences.
